- Ann can organize an end of year day of many outdoor activities
like rock climbing, hiking if there is interest, and there was.
- PRASAD
- if any of our homeschoolers want to undertake organizing any type
of event that would benefit the local mobile dental van that
services out community, PRASAD would help guide them and also we can
have a tour of their facility and van if there is interest. Let
Jennifer know if there is interest in the tour or the project.
- Sandra - spoke about the
birds of prey event that successfully happened this
past Saturday
- General discussion about testing
our children to comply with state standards. I will
add here that there is a national test that kids can take if any one
wants to that is the equivalent of the SAT's. It is called
www.ssat.org and is for lower grades as well
as upper grades 8 thru 11 middle and high school. This is used to
get into private elementary, middle or high schools. Fallsburg
school district would never allow my kids to do the state tests when
they were holding them so they took the ssat's.
- Kids had fun at the park. People
brought their dogs who also had fun. I got a nice tan on my face.
