Everyone apparently raved about the macaroni and cheese Tim brought to the Monty Python night, so:

Peggy Boese's Macaroni and Cheese (Will and Tom's Grandmother)

16 oz box of elbow macaroni

8oz sour cream

12oz cheddar cheese cut into tiny cubes

4 TBSP butter or margarine, cut into cubes or pats

salt and pepper to taste

Cook macaroni according to box directions.  Pour half of the hot macaroni into a casserole dish.  Spread half of the sour cream over the macaroni.  Sprinkle half of the cheese cubes and 2 TBSP of the butter over the top and add salt and pepper.  Repeat with another layer of macaroni, sour cream, cheese, butter, salt and pepper.  Bake uncovered in a 350 degree oven until the cheese melts, about 20 minutes.

*The quantities and proportions of cheese, sour cream, etc. can be adjusted to your liking!
